Congratulations to the winners of the April Gunslinger challenges at Tekapo, during April: Tony Stewart, winner of the Gunslinger Unlimited Rifle Challenge (on Friday) - including hitting three of five shots at 2000m! Tony Stewart, winner of the Gunslinger Extreme Long Range Rifle Challenge (on Saturday) Mark McKendry, winner of the Gunslinger Long Range Rifle Challenge (on Saturday) A match report is available below.
Entries are now also open for the Gunslinger Team Challenge at Sparrowhawk. This is a new event, involving a precision shooter plus an operator / supporting spotter. This will have the highest round count of any Gunslinger event to-date, and most stages will operate where both shooters have to engage multiple targets together.

Events New Caledonia Competition June 2013 2013 June - Friday 14 and Saturday 15 June 2013, New Caledonia. Gunslinger "March or Die" Expeditionary Team. Six Gunslingers are travelling to New Caledonia to shoot in the Silhouette Sniper competition, which is based on NRA silhouette targets, but under field conditions. We will be there from between one and two weeks and include some day hunting as well. Gunslinger Team Challenge at Sparrowhawk - Albury (South Canterbury) - August 2013 !!! Open !!! 2013 August - Friday 16 and Saturday 17 August 2013, South Canterbury. Gunslinger Team Challenge at Sparrowhawk. An optional 3 day Precision Rifle course at Sparrowhawk (Monday 12 - 14 August). Two day competition plus one night shoot (Friday 16 and Saturday 17 August). Each team / pair has one precision rifle shooter (eg with a bolt-action rifle shooting out to ~1000m) and one operator / spotter support (eg with semi-auto shooting out to ~400m). Could be deep in snow. Arrive on the Thursday afternoon for sight-in, but there is no practice day. This is a new and exciting site with various range templates that will be used.
